TriStar Skyline serves as the hub for TriStar Health’s telemedicine network. This remote technology gives stroke patients access to an instantaneous evaluation by a neurologist specializing in stroke care upon their arrival at a TriStar Health emergency room.
Telemedicine gives patients access to stroke care where it otherwise may not be available. As a result, it helps cut down on the critical time it takes to transfer a patient or wait for a stroke specialist to arrive in the ER.
After you or a loved one has a stroke, comprehensive follow-up care is crucial for a successful recovery. As a Stroke Specialty Program as accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), we are able to provide advanced physical therapy and rehabilitation services to stroke patients.
Our certified rehabilitation nurses, therapists and physicians are specially trained to help you or a loved one recover from a stroke. We create a recovery plan tailored to your needs, whether that includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and/or recreational therapy.
Features of our inpatient rehab program include:
- Neuropsychologist services
- 24/7 medical and emergency care in a hospital setting
- Board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians
- Physical, speech and occupational therapists
